IRCI published the first part of its report for the ‘Sustainable Research Data Collection for ICH Safeguarding: Focusing on Central Asia and Small Island Developing States’ project in March 2025, primarily focusing on the collection of ICH research information in Central Asia.

The report provides a summary of data collection activities in Central Asia from FY 2022 to 2024 and includes final reports from partner organizations in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as contributions from the Philippine partner, which participated in the previous research data collection project until FY 2022. Additionally, the project report features a regional analysis of all information collected in Central Asia over the three-year period.
