Turkologist and ethnographer Abubakir Divaev described in his article the complete marriage ceremony of Kirghiz people in Syr-Darya region. As a rule, the wedding may start from the birth of the daughter and her parents started thinking about the desired husband for her. The article provides an overview of the code of rules for a girl and a boy in childhood and youth period. Then the author describes the ceremony of wedding agreement, rites and rituals for the wedding and the procedure itself.
