| Description | Two issues related to the study of the creative heritage of Ch.Ch. Valikhanov are considered in the article. Firstly, the problems of his works on the analysis of collected folklore material are revealed. The scientist paid special attention to epic songs and historical legends. Certain works are devoted to the analysis of folk beliefs and their reflection in folklore (spells, prohibitions, mythological stories). Secondly, the specificity of his field folklore studies, reflected in travel notes, ethnographic essays and selections of texts of certain genres, for example, proverbs, laments, epic songs is revealed. |
