Description
The article examines in detail the sacred and demonological nature of general folklore, including turkic folklore, by analyzing the images of dragons and snakes. The authors provide evidence that in the knowledge of the turkic civilization, these images areembodied in a sacred, spiritual form. Based on the research of foreign and domestic folklore scientists, folklore stories and texts of the turkic peoples are analyzed, comparisons and comparisons are given. As a result of the methodological analysis, specific conclusions are given about the sacred, demonological subtleties, and functional features of the system of characters in general folklore. Based on the methodology of world folklore studies, the article raises the problem of considering the mythological nature of turkic folklore in the framework of general humanitarian sciences.
