Description

In 2011, a report based on ethnographic field research conducted by the Institute of History of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) was compiled and published. This research focused on the Ulziit and Ikhtamir soums of Arkhangai Province. The report compares the Uuld ethnic group living in the Ulziit soum with the Khalkh ethnic group residing in the Ikhtamir soum. It presents the findings related to the current interactions and processes occurring between the two ethnic groups.
