Description
-
The author has shown how local shamans have emerged in the mining town and how they are coping with and responding to socioeconomic and environmental changes. How does shamanism connect and unconnect the people? In short, shamans are migrating and spreading from one mining site to another by scraping and rebuilding people's connectedness both at kin and local levels. It seems to that ancestral spirits really love mining sites.
