Description

In this article, the author documented the characteristics of the traditional ankle game of the Altai Uriankhai people. The research findings detail each game based on information gathered from the last remaining players who grew up with these traditions. For instance, the study identifies 15 anklet games commonly played in Uriankhai, of which 9 are unique to this group and not frequently played by other Mongolian communities. Additionally, the article highlights specific symbols and rituals associated with the anklet game. It emphasizes that children learn, are nurtured, and develop through participation in these games, all without any external pressure.
