Description | In this study, the authors trace the tradition of the four-stringed fiddle and examine its associated sources. In doing so, they studied the nomenclature, origin, and distribution of musical instruments such as fiddle, tsoor, khuulei, khuuchin, shiichin, and tiichin, and made conclusions and explanations at the level of academic articles. The four-string fiddle is a musical instrument rooted in instruments such as the khuuchin and the shiichin. In terms of distribution, it is now spread in Mongolia, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. The special way of fiddling with a four-stringed fiddle still preserves its traditional style that has been handed down to this day by telling stories, adding songs to the stories, and accompanying such dance music, orchestral music, and solo music. |
