Description | The 2nd Central Asian Epic Symposium and Festival took place from August 5 to 7, 2013, in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The conference aimed to study our epic heritage and promote its further development at the intersection of various cultures. During the symposium, 65 presentations were delivered by scholars from eight countries, including Mongolia, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the United States, and Tajikistan, focusing on research in folklore, particularly epics. A summary of the presentations was compiled in the language of the symposium. |
