Description: Scientists Haslund Christensen from Denmark and Sven Hedin from Sweden documented and preserved information about approximately 250 Mongolian long songs during their trip to Mongolia and Inner Mongolia between 1928 and 1939. Researchers D. Davasuren and S. Soronzonbold from the Mongolian University of Culture and Arts selected 66 songs from this collection and published them using vowel notation based on music recordings. This project was funded by the Swiss Development Agency.
