Description	This book is dedicated to "Historical Legends," one of the most extensive genres of folk art, which had been continuously developing from ancient times. Due to some political reasons, folk prose has not yet been published and was not introduced to the academic community before. However, the compilers aim to introduce the original Kazakh historical Legends to the researchers and general public. The volume presents the Kazakh society of the 18th century, historical events, legends. It describes the battles of speakers, leaders, heroes who saved the country's independence from the Jongar invaders, recalls top the national solidarity, peace and unity between the tribes. The structure of the volume is organized in two main sections: "Legends of Figures" and "Legends of Heroes."
