The second volume of the Anthology of Steppe Folklore is compiled of the heroic epic songs grouped under the collection ‘Forty Heroes of the Crimea’. It was documented by the famous epic singer Muryn Zhyrau Sengirbekuly in the period of 1939-1948. This epic cycle describes the main historical events of the Golden Horde and then Turkic states that arose in the XIV-XVII centuries after its decline. Audio record and electronic version of the volume can be downloaded from the popular web-portals and web-sites by applying the specified QR code. The volume collection is intended for the students, scholars and academicians. It will be also useful for a wide range of readers who are committed to preserve the folklore heritage.
