Description | The peoples living since ancient times in the territory of the South of Kazakhstan have rich national traditions and are famous for their high skill in handicraft production. Technical techniques and ornamental motifs among the population of the Syrdarya region trace their roots to the distant past. Handicraft production among Kazakhs, in particular, arose and developed in the conditions of nomadic cattle breeding, played a huge role in it and was entirely aimed at creating housing, clothing and various household items and households. The traditional culture of the Kazakh people has always been distinguished by its identity, completeness of forms and colorfulness. Being a vivid expression of the spiritual culture of the people, closely related to the peculiarities of nomadic cattle breeding, craft production almost did not undergo changes until the beginning of the 20th century. It can only be noted that at the end of the 19th century, synthetic dyes of wool began to penetrate into South Kazakhstan, which, due to their cheapness, partially replaced more valuable, durable, but hard-to-mine plant paints. Aniline dyes have made changes to the traditional color scheme, greatly enriching it. |
